Welcome to 'Elm' class.

In the mornings, we learn together as a Year 4 group. In the afternoons, we work together with the  Year 5 children,  becoming 'Oakwood CC'.

We absolutely LOVE learning.  See below for what we are learning this term and for our 'Reach for the Stars' Challenge grids.

Our class teacher in the mornings is Mrs. Hawkswell. She teaches us every morning and she also teaches PE and Outdoor Learning across the whole school. She has two grown-up sons – both of whom came to Primary SChool here at Hayton! Mrs. Hawkswell loves adventuring and she always has a fascinating tale to tell about where she has been or what she has seen! We think she has a secret crush on Ernest Shakleton! She LOVES teaching us too– so her lessons are always fun, engaging and informative. If you would like to contact Mrs. Hawkswell, her details are below.

In the afternoons, when join the Year 5 children and become 'Oakwood CC', Miss Collins is our teacher. She is incredibly kind and caring. If you would like to contact her, her details are below too:
